CPA and Shareholder

Sharon joined Vander Ploeg, Bergakker & Associates in 2004.  Prior to joining Vander Ploeg, Bergakker & Associates, she had 21 years of professional experience with one of the four largest international public accounting firms and three years of experience in private industry.  She provides professional accounting, tax and advisory services to businesses in a variety of industries and to individuals.

Sharon is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs.  She is a past president of the Board of Directors at the Women’s Resource Center and currently serves on the boards of several community organizations. Sharon is a graduate of Western Michigan University.
